Immediate care, reception and first fostering of minors (RECEP)
This services offers each foreign unaccompanied minor the necessary accommodation, in the company of others and education for their integral development, for the indispensable time until they are ready to change to another centre that is better equipped to help them lead the life they want to lead.
Emergency Care Unit (UATE)
Reception centres that provide diagnostic services and assist minors who, due to different circumstances, are in a situation of emergency. This resources is mainly intended for unaccompanied minors who reach Spain after a dangerous crossing and require immediate care.
Immediate Care Centre (CAI)
Access to the Immediate Care Centre is agreed with the Public Prosecutor through a court order, and the decision on assuming protective measures is decided during their stay. While the minor remains in the Centre awaiting the protective measures, they receive care and schooling within a framework of normal coexistence, ensuring adequate care for the needs of each minor and promoting the full development of their different potential as persons and supervising their conduct during their stay at the centre.
